I have gone to personalized and desktop icons and I unclicked it and clicked it again. I can run in safe mode and from there have run virus and malware scans which come up as 0. You can download the program either as an .iso file--from which you can create a bootable CD--or as an .exe file that will install the program and its bootable operating system
