There might be something wrong with the disk. When I rebooted the pc hung all the time for hours, so I put the hd in another healthy pc and back up data. I checked the setup menus and everything seems to be turned on and keyboard works fine during all of that. Are you using a DVI connection or D-Sub (VGA) for your monitor? Indeed, I don't know for sure if it is windows that hangs up, because is the Keyboard (sp2) which hangs and wouldn't let me do anything. could you tell us if you are running 32bit? You set the BIOS setup screen so the CDROM drive is listed first in the boot order, then insert the XP CD and boot from it, then delete all current partitions, Either things are a lot worse or a lot better now, eh?
